General
PFYN JEWELS is an online retailer offering accessories, beauty products and jewellery.
By using this website, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old or are using the website under the supervision of a parent or guardian.
PFYN JEWELS reserves the right to update or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice.
Product Information
We aim to ensure that all products and descriptions, prices and images displayed on our website are accurate. However, errors may occasionally occur.
Product images are provided for illustration purposes only and colours may vary slightly depending on your screen settings.
PFYN JEWELS reserves the right to correct any errors, omissions and inaccuracies and to change or update information without prior notice.
Pricing
All prices on the PFYN JEWELS website are displayed in South African Rand (ZAR) and include VAT where applicable.
Prices may change at any time without notice.
PFYN JEWELS reserves the right to cancel orders if incorrect pricing appears due to technical or human error.
Placing an order on the PFYN JEWELS website does not guarantee acceptance of the order.
An agreement of sale between you and PFYN JEWELS is only confirmed once the order had been processed and dispatched.
PFYN JEWELS reserves the right to cancel or refuse any order at its discretion, including cases of suspected fraud or payment issues.
Payment
Payments are securely processed through PayFast, which uses secure encryption and complies with banking standards.
PFYN JEWELS does not store or have access to your credit card or banking information.
Promotions and sales
Promotions and sale items are subject to stock availability.
PFYN JEWELS reserves the right to cancel any order where stock is unavailable or where pricing errors occur.
Items purchased during sales or promotions may be subject to different return or exchange policies.
The Online Sale
By taking part in PFYN JEWELS’ promotions and sales, you agree to be bound by the Terms and Conditions stipulated.
It is a condition of participation in the promotions and sales that all terms are accepted as final.
In the event of any dispute regarding the terms or the conduct of the promotions and sales, the decision of PFYN JEWELS shall be final.
Promotions/Sales are subject to stock availability. Whilst reasonable efforts are made to ensure stock accuracy /sufficient stock to meet likely demand, there could be instances where a purchased item is no longer available – PFYN JEWELS may cancel, and refund amounts already paid.
PFYN JEWELS may suspend or end the promotion early on the PFYN JEWELS Website.
Promotions/Sales are while stocks last.
Sizes where applicable are subject to physical stock availability.
PFYN JEWELS reserves the right to immediately cancel any order due to error and omissions caused by website malfunction / system errors / human error / pricing errors. Online Sales are only concluded once the order has been successfully delivered.
Full price products cannot be exchanged or given to replace products that are on sale, unless the customer pays in the difference required for the full price product and sends the proof of payment to PFYN JEWELS before the order can be dispatched (this is at our discretion).
During Peak / promotional trades, the timeline may be slightly longer due to order volumes and demand.
Intellectual property
All content on the PFYN JEWELS website, including text, images, branding and product designs are the property of PFYN JEWELS and may not be reproduced or used without written permission.
Returns, refunds and cancellation policy
Customers may request a return within 7 days of receiving their order, provided the item is unused, unworn, and in its original packaging. Any faults must be reported immediately by sending a photo via WhatsApp (075 242 0398) or email:
Refunds are processed through the original payment method via PayFast and may take 2–14 business days to reflect, depending on your bank.
Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer and original shipping fees are non-refundable.
For hygiene and safety reasons, earrings, body jewellery, beauty products, and all sale items cannot be returned, refunded, or exchanged. Returns are also not accepted for change-of-mind purchases. Orders cancelled after payment may be subject to a flat rate administration fee to cover payment processing charges.
Rings
No refunds will be given for purchasing the incorrect ring size as ring sizing guides are provided on the website.
Returns
Customers may request a return within 7 days of receiving the order, provided that the item is unused, is unworn, is returned in its original packaging and is in the same condition as received.

Non-Returnable Items
For hygiene and safety reasons, PFYN JEWELS does not accept returns or exchanges for the following items, earrings, body jewellery or piercing products, beauty products, sale or promotional items.
As a jewellery company that sells hypoallergenic and tarnish free products, we prioritize our customers’ health and safety above all else, and want to ensure that our products are only sold as new, unworn and unused items. For this hygiene reason, we do not accept returns, refund or exchanges of our products with simple change of mind or products past our own refund period.
Please be sure to be aware of this and make your purchase accordingly.
We cannot refund, return, or exchange all sale products, all earrings, body piercing products, and other beauty products even within the refundable period. We would like to firmly inform you that we do not offer refunds on sensitive items, under any circumstances, regardless of the reason. Please be aware that the no-refund policy on hygiene-related products is based on South African law, and we kindly ask that you take this into consideration before making your purchase.
Order Cancellations
Orders cancelled after payment may be subject to an administration fee, which covers payment processing costs charged by our payment provider.

Shipping and delivery policy
Orders are processed within 72 hours of being placed, and certain items may require up to 14 working days for manufacturing.
Orders are shipped Monday to Friday during business hours, excluding public holidays.
Once an order has been dispatched and handed over to the courier service, PFYN JEWELS is not responsible for courier errors or delays.
Customers are advised to open parcels carefully, as PFYN JEWELS cannot be held liable for items that are damaged during the opening of the package.
Delivery times may vary due to courier delays or circumstances beyond our control.
Please note that PFYN JEWELS is not responsible for items lost during return shipping. Shipping fees are calculated at checkout.

Delivery Responsibility
PFYN JEWELS cannot be held responsible for delivery delays caused by courier.
Incorrect addresses provided by the customer or circumstances are beyond our control.
Customers are responsible for ensuring that their delivery address and postal code are correct when placing an order.
We aim to process your order within 72 hours of it being placed.
Please allow for 14 working days for manufacturing, for premium PFYN JEWELS and custom designs. Our premium and custom designs are handmade, if any delays occur PFYN JEWELS will communicate this.
JEWELLERY CARE INTRUCTION
PFYN JEWELS jewellery are made from high-quality stainless steel, silver, gold, PVD gold plated and precious materials.
Although designed to be durable, proper care will extend the lifespan of your jewellery.
We recommend that customers remove jewellery before going to bed or participating in physical activity.
Exposure to certain harsh chemicals or environments will result in compromising the integrity of your jewellery. This includes, but is not limited to the following: perspiration, perfumes, cleaning agents, chlorine, salt water.
Waterproof and non-tarnishing stainless-steel jewellery are not fine jewellery or lifetime jewellery. Please be aware that these products are consumables, and the lifespan and potential for malfunction of cubic or hook of the chain can vary depending on factors such as the duration of use and how the product is worn.
All of the gold stainless steel products we sell are 18k gold-plated. It is important to note that all plated jewellery will naturally experience colour changes over time (=discoloration). This is a natural occurrence of the metal. The extent and speed of the plating wear can vary depending on factors such as the frequency of wear, how it is worn, and individual skin characteristics. This natural process is not considered a manufacturing defect. Everyone’s skin type is different. Some people have strong reactions to bronze & gold plating. No refunds or returns are given for the colour of your jewellery changing caused by skins oils. This natural process occurs with premium gold-plated products as well as those with thicker PVD coatings.
PFYN JEWELS jewellery are made from 316L stainless steel and 18k gold plating (unless stated otherwise), designed to be water-resistant and durable for everyday wear. Over time, gold-plated pieces may naturally experience colour fading due to wear, exposure to water, chemicals, and individual skin chemistry. This is a normal process and not considered a manufacturing defect.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR CUSTOM DESIGNS
Custom Made Jewellery and Orders
A 50% deposit is payable upfront on all orders.
The date of completion is an estimate and wherever possible any unexpected delays will be communicated.
PFYN JEWELS reserves the right to adjust the costs indicated on the sales order.
All deposits paid are non-refundable in the event that the order is cancelled.
PFYN JEWELS is not liable for any skin reactions that may occur from the metal from any designs and jewellery.
It is important to provide us with the correct ring size, as clients are responsible for any resizing costs incurred due to incorrect measurement.
QUOTE VALIDITY:
The quote is valid for 48 hours only due to the fluctuating pricing of the precious metal and the stone industry. If you decide to go ahead with it at a later stage, we will gladly update the quote for you.
PAYMENT FOR CUSTOM DESIGNS:
If you would like to proceed with the quote, we require a 50% deposit as confirmation. The bank details will be provided.
Please use your full name on the quote when making the payment.
Please email or WhatsApp us the Proof of Payment to confirm your order, we will only secure your stone and proceed with manufacturing once we have received the proof of payment.
By paying the deposit you are agreeing to the use of the stones as quoted. We are not to be held responsible for the cost of changing any stones in the design.
The outstanding balance must be paid at maximum 4 weeks from the initial payment, the goods will not be released without full payment. We will provide you with a payment due date upon receipt of your deposit.
Payment can be made via EFT.
CANCELLATION FOR CUSTOM DESIGNS:
If you choose to cancel the order after you have accepted and paid the deposit, we have the right to retain your 50% deposit. No product or stones will be handed over.
RETURNS ON CUSTOM DESIGNS:
All custom design sales are final.
Custom Design pieces are not refundable nor exchangeable.
Please note that PFYN JEWELS does not buy back any precious metals or stones.
WARRANTY AND REPAIRS on custom designs:
We ask that you do not have another jeweller work on your PFYN JEWELS custom designs. If someone else has resized, repaired, or adapted your custom designs, we cannot be held responsible for future repairs, costs or adaptations.
We offer a limited one-year warranty against manufacturing faults and defects.
We will only replace items if they are defective or damaged due to manufacturing faults not everyday wear and tear.
Our chains and jewellery are delicate by nature, and we cannot be held responsible for breakages.
Broken chains can be replaced at an additional discounted cost.
